Medicare Rights Center provides free help to anyone seeking answers or help navigating the Medicare system--people like Melissa (above) and Maureen (below). Thanks to MRC, they received the help and care they needed and an expert advocate in their corner. These are their stories.

Maureen's Story
When Maureen, who is 86 years old, legally blind, and was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, was dropped from her Medicare prescription drug plan, her daughters were shocked and even more worried about their mother’s health. Maureen’s daughter Colleen contacted the Medicare Rights Center, and after their counselors stepped in to resolve the problem, her mother’s critical drug coverage was finally restored.
