12-18-2015: Earlier this month we wrapped Principal Photography on The Atlantic Motel, the latest short film that I Directed and co-wrote. We got incredible performances from our ensemble cast that includes Dan Grimaldi (The Sopranos) and Fiona Robert (Donny!). We enter post-production in January. Expect the film on the festival circuit in 2016.
12-17-2015: I spent October and November backpacking through India, Nepal, and Myanmar (Burma). Be on the lookout for some footage I shot while I was over there to surface sometime in the New Year. |
09-14-2015: I've been named Director of The Atlantic Motel--a short film starring Dan Grimaldi (The Sopranos):
A NJ motel is a one-night host to a series of couples who face the reality of their troubled relationships. Through its neighboring walls and within its rooms, The Atlantic Motel reveals how love can be found, rekindled, and lost. We are currently casting and begin principal photography in December. 09-13-2015: Shaun Seneviratne's film Tourists will be screening at several film festivals including its premiere on Sunday, October 4th at 2pm at Anthology Film Archives for Bushwick Film Festival. 08-26-2015: For the 10 year anniversary of Katrina, I cut this piece that profiles Hollygrove, a New Orleans neighborhood, that has seen some drastic rebirth from it's violent post-storm days thanks to some grass-roots help and the Livable Communities project.
08-25-2015: I cut another patient story for Really Useful Media and the Cancer Research InstituteReally Useful Media and the Cancer Research Institute. Shirley Dumont chose Immunotherapy after multiple cancers treated with Chemotherapy. 07-29-2015: Cycle For The Cause is a 3 day bike journey from Boston to New York put on by The Center to raise funds to cure AIDS. The IS Collective shot some great footage of past treks and I cut a trailer for the event. Check it out and see if you'd like to join the adventure or fund a rider. You can learn more at cycleforthecause.org if you're curious. 07-28-2015: I'm currently working on a number of documentation projects ranging from future workspaces to new artist volumes. There are a lot of exciting things happening for SITU Studio. 05-06-2015: The short documentary Making Design Lab will return to the screen as part of a program looped throughout BKLYN DESIGNS this weekend, May 8th-10th. 04-28-2015: Farm-to-Fork Loudoun--the incredible eat-local movement in Virginia--has launched their Kickstarter campaign. Watch the video DIVIDED LINE made for them and help the program blossom. The initiative connects Loudoun County farmers and vintners to local restaurants for an 11-day culinary event that benefits the Loudoun community. 04-26-2015: I have some photos on display at the MoMA for the New York City portion of the Uneven Growth exhibit. You can see them for yourself through May 25th. |
06-06-2015: I cut the story of Lung Cancer survivor Maureen O'Grady for Really Useful Media and the Cancer Research Institute. Her story is incredible not just because of her bravery, but because she was given only a few months to live but chose Immunotherapy as an alternative to Chemotherapy and survived. 01-18-2015: WALLS will screen at IndieWorks on Wednesday, January 21st with several other short films and a Q&A to follow. The event is free and takes place at People's Lounge and Bar in Manhattan starting at 730pm.
01-02-2015: WALLS finally comes to the net after a fun festival tour in 2015. This short, 6-minute comedy is for fans of Star Wars, Dawson's Creek, or really anyone that's ever heard their neighbor. Turn up the volume and see what you hear. 12-15-2014: I am honored to be cutting Shaun Seneviratne's upcoming short film, Tourists. We are editing now and it is shaping up to be an excellent film. 10-30-2014: I'm excited to announce two more festival appearances for Walls. The first is LA Comedy Fest (Nov 13th-23rd), more details to come. The second is back in Williamsburg, Brooklyn where the film was shot and takes place for Williamsburg Independent Film Festival. That screening will be at the Wythe Hotel Cinema on Friday, Nov 21st at 10pm. 10-28-2014: Walls will screen at the theater I went to see movies at in High School--AMC Hoffman--for Alexandria Film Festival at 1pm on Saturday, November 8th. It will screen at Mt. Hood Independent Film Festival in Oregon on November 7th at 10pm. |
10-14-2014: I'm proud to bring Walls to my home state of Virginia for Alexandria Film Festival, November 7th-9th. I'll be in Old Town for the screening, quite close to my hometown. Details to come.

09-10-2014: Tickets are now on sale for the world premiere of my new film Walls at Coney Island Film Festival. The short comedy will screen at 1 PM on Saturday, September 20th as part of Program 1. Purchase tickets now before it sells out.
09-09-2014: The short documentary, Making Design Lab, will make its soft premiere at Maker Faire prior to its Festival premiere at ADFF. 08-28-2014: My newest short film, Walls, will make its world premiere at Coney Island Film Festival. Walls is a short comedy about a Star Wars fan hearing the neighbor he's never met, and the ways in which we are involuntarily brought into strangers' lives. Filmed and located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, I'm honored that the film will premiere in its native borough. The festival runs from September 19th-21st. More details regarding screen times and tickets to come. 08-27-2014: The short documentary that I shot and edited for Situ Studio, Making Design Lab, will screen at this year's Architecture and Design Film Festival in New York City. The documentary follows Situ Studio as they design, fabricate, and install NYSci's new exhibit series "Design Lab." This initiative slows down the museum experience in order to have a deeper impact on children's perception of design and inspire further STEM interest. The festival will run from October 15-19 at Tribeca Cinemas. |
06-27-2014: Freddy Hall & The Best Intentions released the music video for "A Lullaby" that I Directed and Edited. The song is quite emotional and created a stimulating challenge to capture. It was incredible to make and I was very fortunate to work with such talented people, including choreographer Ellenore Scott and actress Sofia Rebelo. Jamal Solomon and Wilson M'Biavanga made it look beautiful. Thanks to Maxine Medina and the Rizzos for locations. I hope you enjoy it. |
06-20-2014: I traveled to Virginia to make the Kickstarter video for the fantastic Farm-to-Fork Loudoun initiative that connects Loudoun County farmers and vintners to local restaurants for an 11-day culinary event. 06-17-2014: Blue Barn Pictures released another film online: Moving On. I was Assistant Director for this short narrative about two girls in Brooklyn moving different directions in their lives.
05-30-2014: The IS Collective shot and produced an excellent look at The Center, an LGBT community center in SoHo. I had the pleasure of editing the piece. 05-29-2014: The Rower is a short documentary about Lewis Colam's incredible journey to raise awareness for Alzheimer's research. 04-09-2014: Shooting for my next short film, Walls, wrapped successfully. The short comedy is about hearing the neighbor that you haven't met and the façades we build between us. Anyone who has lived in a city apartment will likely be able to relate to the involuntary vulnerabilities that come with such close quarters. Look for it online and in festivals this summer.
04-08-2014: I recently made a piece covering AM Aesthetic, a rock trio out of Brooklyn. With little space to practice, the band members live together and write new songs on misaligned schedules by recording in pieces. As the bassist says, "it's like 21st Century jamming." Check it out.
